Pastor Kieron D. Buford was saved at the age of 14 by our Lord and Savior through an obedient servant of God named Mother Williams at a Holy Ghost Tent Revival in Mobile, Alabama. He served in the U. S. Navy after high school from July 1987- January 1994 onboard the USS Midway aircraft carrier stationed in Yokosuka, Japan and second tour of duty at P. Mugu Naval Air Station, Oxnard, California. In January 1994 he was honorably discharged and pursued his passion to serve God’s people. His willingness to step outside his comfort zone and obey God’s command to compel all men to come unto Him laid the foundation in Pastor Buford for the New Antioch Worship Center Ministries in Mobile, Alabama and Stafford, Virginia. It’s with that same zeal for righteousness and holiness that Pastor Kieron Buford has served and preached the gospel of Jesus Christ for 30+ years.
Pastor Buford was licensed to preach in June 1993 by Bishop B.A. Huggins at St. Paul’s Baptist Church in Oxnard, California. His first sermon was "What Is A Christian". In January 2005, Pastor Kieron Buford founded New Antioch Christian Fellowship in Mobile, Alabama and was ordained March 2005 by Bishop Huggins. After building, establishing, and blessing the Mobile community for five years, the Buford’s were called by God to the DMV region in 2010.
In June 2013, God called the Buford’s forth to plant NACF of Stafford, VA. under the leadership of Presiding Bishop David A. Richey at Gulf Coast Christian Center in Mobile, Alabama. Also, The Buford’s and NACF of Stafford all came under the covering of Operation MOBILE International Churches, Inc., as well as affiliated with Bishop Eugene Reeves and the Eagles Rock Communion of Christian Leaders. Pastor Kieron Buford received his Bachelor of Arts from Springhill College in Mobile, Alabama and his Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University School of Theology in May 2019. Pastor Buford has plans to continue his education by pursuing his doctorate in ministry in Fall 2023. Pastor Buford is married to ordained Minister and Worship Leader Kimberly Ann Lewis-Buford, they have three adult children: Myles, Mykia and KeZiah and two fur babies, Brandi and Rogue.
